Inode Usage Limits

An inode is a data structure used to keep information about a file on your hosting account. The number of inodes indicates the number of files and folders you have. This includes everything on your account, emails, files, folders, anything you store on the server.

We have a 250,000 inodes limit for shared and reseller customers per cPanel. The use of more than 250,000 inodes on your account may result in a warning, and then suspension if no correction is made.

Accounts found to be exceeding 100,000 inode limit will not be included in the weekly backups GoMedia offers.
