Click on catalog

Then categories

Scroll down to new category

Type in the name and description in respective fields

You can add an image by selecting one you have on your HD, and then choosing a directory to which you could install

Sort order: this decides the order of the new category in the main list of categories (zero "0" represents the top).

Click save

The category will now show in the list to the left
